# Apers on Your Phone

> Check on your deals, answer Apers, start chats, and approve edits from your phone

Open [ai.apers.app](https://ai.apers.app) on your phone and Apers shows a phone-sized view built for checking in while you're away from your desk. There's nothing to install. Tablets get the full desktop app.

## What You Can Do on Your Phone

> **See what needs you**
>
> The home screen lists **Needs attention** (chats waiting on you, still running, or just finished) and your **Recent chats**.

> **Reply and answer questions**
>
> Reply in any chat. When Apers has asked you a question, answer it right in the chat.

> **Start new chats**
>
> Start a quick chat from the home screen, or a new chat in a deal from a chat's header.

> **Upload and open files**
>
> Attach files to a message, upload them to a deal, and open a deal's files to read them.

## Approving Edits

When Apers is waiting for your approval on an edit, the chat shows a one-line summary of what it wants to do, with **Approve** and **Reject** buttons. The full details of an edit show on a computer.

To skip approvals on your phone, turn on **Let Apers make edits without asking (this phone only)** in the chat. It applies to this phone only and doesn't change your setting on your computer.

> [!TIP]
>
> After you send a reply or an approval, you can lock your phone. Apers keeps working, and the chat shows **Apers is working. You can lock your phone.** while it does.

## Getting Alerts

Tap **Get alerts on this phone** on the home screen to get a notification when Apers has a question or finishes work you started from your phone.

> [!NOTE]
>
> On an iPhone, alerts only work from the Home Screen app. In Safari, tap **Share**, then **Add to Home Screen**, and open Apers from there.

If your phone has blocked notifications for Apers, turn them back on in your phone's settings.

## What Stays on a Computer

Your phone covers checking in, replying, and quick questions. Use a computer for:

* Building and editing models in the full spreadsheet view, and the full Data Room
* The **Max** and **Alternate model** toggles (see [Chat Modes](https://docs.apers.app/deals/chat-modes.md))
* Adding credits

> [!NOTE]
>
> Keep the screen open while a file uploads from your phone. Locking the phone mid-upload can interrupt it.
