# Saving & Reusing Knowledge

> Learn how to use the Library to accumulate insights and reuse files across deals

The Library is a powerful feature that allows you to accumulate and reuse your deal knowledge over time. By saving files from your deals and chats to the Library, you create a feedback loop—the more deals you analyze, the more your knowledge grows.

## What You Can Do

* Push deal information to your system Library
* Reuse saved files by importing them into new deals or chats
* Access pre-built templates provided by Apers

## Accessing the Library

    Navigate to the left side of your screen.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Click Library">
    Click **Library** to open your system Library.
  </Step>

In the Library page, you can:

* View all your stored files
* Access **Library Templates**—a collection of valuable pre-built files from Apers

## Saving Files to the Library

<Steps>
  <Step title="Go to the Deal room">
    Navigate to the right side panel in your Deal room.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Find the file">
    Locate the file you want to save.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Click the triple dot icon">
    Click the **triple dot icon** (⋮) on the file.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Save to Library">
    Select **Save to Library**.
  </Step>
</Steps>

<Tip>
  **Example:** You create a proforma spreadsheet model and want to reuse it for future deals. Simply click the triple dot icon on that file and select **Save to Library**.

## Importing Files from the Library

<Steps>
  <Step title="Open Chat or Deal">
    Navigate to your Chat or Deal.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Click Import from Library">
    Go to the **bottom right** and click **Import from Library**.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Select your file">
    Choose the file you want to import from your system Library.
  </Step>
