What Happens When You Attach a Playbook
Once a Playbook is attached:- All existing sub-chats gain access to the Playbook
- All new sub-chats automatically use the Playbook
- Apers reads deal information through the lens of your investment strategy
How to Attach a Playbook

Open your deal
Go to the deal you want to work with.

Click Run Playbook
Click the Run Playbook button.

Select your Playbook
In the Run a Playbook dialog, choose from your existing Playbooks and click Run Analysis.

Review the analysis
The Playbook is now attached to this deal, and Apers starts a new chat (named “Playbook:” plus the playbook’s name) that evaluates the deal against each of your criteria and ends with a recommendation: Pass, Dive Deeper, or Invest.
A deal has one Playbook at a time. Running a different Playbook replaces the current one for everyone on the deal. You can also attach a Playbook when you create a deal.
Swapping Playbooks
You can change the attached Playbook anytime.1
Click Run Playbook
Click the Run Playbook button again.

Select a different Playbook
Choose a new Playbook from your list and click Run Analysis.

New Playbook is active
The new Playbook replaces the old one, and Apers now uses the new investment strategy for this deal.
Swapping Playbooks is useful when you want to analyze the same deal under different investment criteria—for example, comparing a Core Plus strategy vs. a Value-Add strategy.
